Don't worry, we have the answers. Echidna are also known as "spiny anteaters" and they join platypuses as the only mammals on earth who reproduce by laying eggs. When those eggs hatch, the babies are known as puggles. And they're pretty dang cute, if we do say so ourselves.
This little guy was recently rescued by the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia.
When they brought him in, he was suffering serious injuries after a bulldozer dug up his burrow.
But he's doing much better now with the help of his new surrogate mom, Sam, a zookeeper.
She feeds him a special milk mixture straight from the palm of her hand, similar to how he would feed in the wild.
Here he is playing adorably with another youngster at the zoo:
(via Facebook, Mashable)Since being brought to the zoo in February, the puggle has almost doubled in size and grown more confident in his eating. However, he does still enjoy stopping now and then to blow bubbles in the milk!
