This Seemingly Silly Act Could Be A Sign Of Something Serious In Your Pet

Sometimes it's hard to tell when our pets are distressed or sick. After all, they can't call us up to say they're sick or come over and offer up that they feel nauseous.
While it might look like these pets are just being silly, possibly feeling ashamed of peeing on the rug again or for embarrassingly falling off the table earlier, but it could be much, much worse. If your pet is leaning his or her head against a wall like this, take them to the vet immediately. Here's why...

Your pet is trying to tell you something is seriously wrong.

Possible issues could be prosencephalon disease (forebrain and thalamus brain damage), toxic poisoning...

Or other infections and tumors affecting the nervous system.

Your dog or cat could also be suffering from liver toxicity.

This position could also be a signal for metabolic disorders, inflammation of the brain, and spinal cord or brain damage...

Don't put your pet at risk for any longer than they have to be, have them checked out by a vet right away.

While the causes of this behavior are varied, just know that your pet isn't feeling well, and needs your help. With proper care many of these chemical imbalances and infections can be treated. It's on you to find out what the root of the problem is, and to get that kitty or pup's sweet face looking at you, not a wall.
