This father wanted his son to have a place that would remind him to dream big and be adventurous, so he built him something special that would help spark his imagination.
He started by constructing the framework out of planks of wood.
He built each section separately, making the construction more streamlined.
Once he had all the pieces complete, it was time to put them together.
This was the basic shape of the new bed he was building for his son.
He then burned some bear paws into the steps.
He also inscribed this heartwarming and inspiring message to his son.
Next he began working on staining the different pieces to give it a more rustic look.
Here's the completed bed.
This is a seriously heartwarming gift from a father to a son. Even though his son will someday outgrow the bed, he'll never outgrow its message of seeing everyday as a new and exciting adventure!
