This family had countless books laying around the house and nowhere to put them. They also had some extra space in their living room that wasn't being used. So they decided to get working on a project that would solve all their problems (and make any bibliophile jealous!). Check out what they built below!
This was the wall in their living room that would be perfect for their project.
They began by constructing a base out of some two-by-fours.
Next, they began constructing sections that would provide more storage space.
The bookcase is really beginning to take shape...
Once the main section was complete, it was time to give it a fresh coat of paint.
Looks great, but their work was far from finished.
They constructed doors that would cover the bottom sections of the bookcase.
Here's the finished product. Compared to how that wall looked before, this is a big improvement!
They did a pretty excellent job with this bookcase. It's so much better than a blank, boring wall. And I'm sure they're happy to have a place to put all their books, to!
